Recreational Programs

Recreation Sessions 1 & 2 Registration will begin at 9:00 am on Wednesday July 31st.

Session schedules will be posted on Uplifter on Monday July 29th

Norfort offers Recreation programs for all skill levels. Programs start at just 18 months of age. Athletes must

be the proper age by the start of classes.

Attire: A Leotard is not required for Recreation classes. Comfortable gym clothing that is not too loose is acceptable for class - leggings/shorts & a t-shirt/tank top. Norfort Leo's can be purchased here.

Parent & Tot

Ages 18 months - 3 years

This 45 minute class is an introduction for young toddlers to learn the basics of gymnastics including, jumps, hangs, balance, and rolls.

Parents participate in class with their child.

Preschool

Ages 3-4

This 45 minute class is un-parented. In this class, athletes build on what they have learned in the parent & tot class and are building the foundation for more difficult gymnastics skills.

Cangym

Ages 5+

In this 1 hour and 15 minute class, Athletes work through the Cangym badges. Each badge builds off of the foundations from the previous badge. All 4 events are used, Bars, Beam, Floor & Vault.

Boys Gym

Ages 6-12

Boys Gym is a one hour class and is tailored to Mens Gymnastics. Athletes are learning skills needed for a mens gymnastics events, Floor, High Bar, Rings, Pommels, Vault & Parallel Bars.

Prep Cheer

Ages 3+

Prep Cheer is a recreational cheer program that is non-competitive and teaches the basics of Cheer. Athletes learn to stunt, tumble, jump and dance.

Trampoline & Tumbling

Ages 6+

This one hour class teaches the athletes the basics of trampoline for beginners and builds upon the basics for Intermediate and advanced athletes.
